Let me talk about new toys…

For as long as I can remember, I have been sewing in my invisible zippers with a Singer Zipper foot that fits on my Janome sewing machine (below right).  It bounces around a bit, but it’s ok.  A few months ago I purchased this “Unique” brand package.  A plastic Zipper Foot with a variety of shanks…

Finished … is it a Success?

I thought I would show you what I have been up to this past week.  I have finally finished my black cardigan, McCall’s M7055.  A McCall’s “Learn to Sew for Fun” pattern.  When I opened the pattern envelope, I was surprised to find it was nothing but a CIRCLE with sleeves!

    I’m still here!

No, I haven’t run off to join the circus.  Yes, life has gotten a little busy right now but it’s interesting that during all the commotion, I am still dreaming of my sewing projects – past, present and future! What am I (still) working on?  My McCall’s M7055.  I am hoping it will look great…

My 3rd Me-Made-May’14 post and I’m still hanging in there!  How are you doing? Monday, May 12 –  a knit skirt I made long ago.  Sophie has checked it out and given her approval. Tuesday, May 13 – Along with my pea coat,  blogged here, my jean jacket is another favourite of mine!  I wore…

    Me-Made-May’14 (2nd post)

To recap my first MMMay’14 post, so far, missing in my hand made wardrobe and now on the “To Do” list is … jeans.  Let’s see what is next then, shall we? Monday, May 5 – I wore a cardigan over my summer top and pants because the office always has cold spots in it.  (I…
